Dear People in Christ:

Christian Crosses, Inc. was formed to continue the great ministry a great man, Bernard Coffindaffer of Craigsville, W.V. In September of 1993 he began building the first of some 1900 Clusters of Crosses in America, Zambia, and the Philippines. All the Crosses were built with his own money. Unfortunately, Bernard died in October of 1993 and his ministry, Cast Thy Bread, Inc. ceased operation, with no money in reserve.

The Lord has now called three people to begin building His Crosses across this great land; Sheldon Turrill of Marietta, Ohio, Robert Clarke of Salisbury, N.C.; and myself, Sara Abraham. We have formed a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation so that all donations are tax deductible, Our immediate goal is to raise $50,000 to be eligible for the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, a firm that audits ministries. We have located Christian Crosses, Inc. International Headquarters here in Vicksburg, Ms..

First, the standing Crosses need Restoration. Some are leaning. Most need repainting. As a site owner, it is our prayer that you will heed the Lord's Call to straighten them if they need straightening; paint them if they need painting; clean around them if needed, etc. The Crosses deserve to be in first-class shape. Also, please find the next sheet to be completed and returned to the Letterhead Address. Your cooperation in this effort means a great deal to the success of Christian Crosses, and I thank you in advance.

Future plans call for locating these Clusters of Crosses every 50 miles along the 45,000 miles of interstates and other major thoroughfares In the United States. A nationwide wide media campaign will be launched upon the completion of the Restoration. These silent witnesses both to the Christian and the Lost alike must continue to be built. We, the People in Christ, must come forth and finish this work for Him. No one will ever know the total impact these Crosses have had over the years.
